Double opt-in procedure solves two points :
- it is an opt-in permission process that gives you the insurance that your web users agree to sign-up to your newsletter or similar request.
- it guaranties you that the declared e-mail addresses of your web users are valid.
And in some countries, legislation requests the use of Double opt-in!

How do you activate Double opt-in option on your FormForAll form ?
Since Double opt-in is an e-mail address authentication process, your form must include either our “E-mail address” field
or our “Sign up” field with the choice “E-mail”.
Once your form is created, save it for publishing and go on to SETTINGS to the sub-menu Double opt-in.
When your web user clicks on the link in the e-mail, the link returns the web user first to our platform where we verify the information and then to your website, at the URL you declare. To do so, you must use our Records API to retrieve the information that we have authenticated the declared e-mail address and allow it to log-in to your site (read our documentation for more details).
